When you first start MusiFind Pro, a Setup Wizard will appear to guide you through basic configuration.
- Press Next on the introductory section.
- Select the CD drive where you will be inserted CD-ROMs for playing or entering automatically into the database. On most systems this is drive D:. Once you have made your selection, press Next.
- Select a date format for release dates. We recommend “Year Only”, MM/YY, or YY/MM. Once you have made your selection, press Next.
- Select which lists you want to appear when you start MusiFind Pro or select this collection. We recommend the Album list or the Songs list, depending which you plan to use most. Once you have made your selection, press Next.
- Press Finish to save your configuration.
In addition to basic configuration, you may wish to change the default “dictionaries”. These are lists of common lookup items such as media types (CD, cassette, etc) and song categories (Rock, Jazz, etc). These may be modified by selecting “Lists” from the main menu, “Dictionaries”, then the appropriate dictionary.
