Tutorial - About file numbers

File numbers are a way of briefly identifying albums. We recommend using your existing file numbering system, and if you don’t have one, create one.

The two most popular methods are:

-      Plain number – 001, 002, 003, etc.

-      Artist and number – BEA001, BEA002, SPR001, SPR002, etc.

-      Album and number – WHI001, XYZ001, etc.

-      First letters and date – PMR0207 for "Promo Modern Rock July 2002"

MusiFind Pro will attempt to detect the method you have chosen and provide a possible next file number whenever you add albums, but you can always override the suggestion.

NOTE: File numbers must be unique for each album in your database.
