Tutorial - Configuration - Web Server Module

An additional module is available for purchase (for the Groups Edition only) that allows secure, limited access to the password database via the web. An SSL certificate is required, and not provided. Once the web module has been installed, it must be activated through the Groups Edition Administration module.

Maximum password level – Passwords with a level higher in this will never be served.

Web server port – Port users will connect to. The default port is 444. Note: The connection must be secure, so the end user must specify the "https://" protocol. Example: https://127.0.0.1:444

Web site title – A heading to use on all pages served.

SSL filenames – The path and file name for the SSL certificate (*.crt) and your private key (*.key).

Once this items have been configured and saved, the web server can be started.

The web server sends pages located in the "web\" subfolder. Cascading style-sheets and other end-user configurable files are stored in this location. You may also place your own HTML files in this folder for serving.
