Cut-n-Paste menu to CREATED() fields

Postby ErikSpierenburg » Mon Aug 07, 2006 1:54 am

Hello and good morning all-

We use the cut-and-paste functions (MiscEntryFieldClipboardSupport) and they are great. However, the right-click menu is not automatically shown on fields that are created at run-time.

I have found this code:

Code: Select all
IF vsClipboardMgr.TakeEvent()
   RETURN Level:Benign
END

in the TakeFieldEvent section for the window. I understand it to be the code that calls the popupmenu.

For my run-time created fields I will probably have to catch the rightclick like this myself.

But where?

Groeten,
Erik

Hi All-

Well, this turned out to be aq conceptual problem more than anything else: me not grabbing the concept of the vsClipboardMgr that is ;)

The vsClipboardMgr.Init( ) is called _before_ I Created( ) my fields. As a result rightmouseclick is not Alert()ed for these fields.

Calling vsClipboardMgr.Kill( ) after creating the fields followed by calling vsClipboardMgr.Init( ) right after fixed it.

Thanks Vince, for a great tool!

Groeten,
Erik
