The Backup and Restore Module allows you to create and use industry-standard ZIP archive files. When you start the Backup/Restore program, you will be asked which operation you wish to perform, and what file to backup to or restore from.
You can also backup Schedule Wizard’s databases using the advanced format by completing the following steps:
- Press the Advanced button on the simple Backup/Restore window
- Select File->New Archive
- Name the archive
- Select Actions->Add
- Select the files to archive.
Note: The Advanced module also allows you to access any standard ZIP file.
To backup as part of a task, use the following syntax:
ADSBACK.EXE BACKUP=filename.zip
ADSBACK.EXE RESTORE=filename.zip
We do not recommend restoring your database while Schedule Wizard is running. The Backup/Restore module is separate, so you can close Schedule Wizard when you wish to restore your database.
